Knight Foundation seeking young innovators

Are you between the age of 19 and 35? Do you have an idea for urban mobility, public spaces and civic engagement in the St. Paul? The Knight Foundation is looking for you.


The Emerging City Championships Fellowship is seeking applicants for "Young Civic Innovators" in the 26 communities where Knight invests. It includes St. Paul and Duluth. The deadline for applications is April 15, 2016.

The fellowship offer of $5000 skills, knowledge and support innovators need to make immediate and long term impact in their communities. The requirements are given below:

  1. Applicants must be between the ages of 19-35.
  2. The project must take place in or benefit one of the 26 communities where Knight invests.
  3. Projects must contribute to improved urban mobility or public space.
  4. Applications must include a multimedia submission that describes the project.
